Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Interior Design Faculty with strong knowledge of drafting to train and mentor students. The ideal candidate should have practical industry experience along with teaching ability in both manual and software-based drafting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach interior design concepts including space planning, color theory, materials, and design principles
- Train students in manual drafting and technical drawing
- Provide hands-on training in software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and basic 3D tools
- Guide students in creating layouts, floor plans, elevations, and working drawings
- Support students in portfolio development and live project work
- Conduct assessments, assignments, and regular evaluations
- Stay updated with latest industry trends and tools
