Position Summary
The Centre Manager is the overall in-charge of the diagnostic centre and is responsible for its day-to-day operations, patient experience, team management, profitability, and growth. The individual will function as the Centre Head, ensuring smooth coordination between doctors, technicians, reception, housekeeping, corporate clients, and management while maintaining the highest standards of service quality and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can independently manage an operational healthcare facility with minimal supervision and take ownership of the centre’s performance from Day One.
Key Responsibilities
1. Centre Operations
- Manage complete day-to-day operations of the diagnostic centre.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all departments without operational delays.
- Maintain discipline, efficiency, and service standards throughout the centre.
- Resolve operational issues promptly and independently.
2. Team Leadership
- Lead and supervise reception staff, technicians, phlebotomists, coordinators, housekeeping, and support staff.
- Allocate duties and monitor daily performance.
- Conduct regular team meetings and training.
- Build a high-performance and patient-centric work culture.
3. Doctor & Technician Coordination
- Coordinate appointment schedules of consultants and visiting doctors.
- Ensure technicians, radiologists, and consultants work in sync.
- Handle inter-department communication effectively.
- Ensure minimal patient waiting time through proper scheduling.
4. Floor Management
- Continuously monitor patient movement across the centre.
- Ensure efficient queue management.
- Handle patient escalations immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness, ambience, and hospitality standards.
- Ensure every patient receives a seamless experience.
5. Business & Profitability (P&L Ownership)
- Take complete ownership of the centre’s Profit & Loss.
- Monitor daily revenue, expenses, collections, and operational costs.
- Improve centre profitability through better operational efficiency.
- Track key financial and operational KPIs.
- Implement cost-control initiatives without compromising patient care.
6. Business Development & Public Relations
- Build and maintain relationships with referring doctors, corporates, TPAs, hospitals, and local healthcare professionals.
- Identify new business opportunities.
- Support marketing initiatives at the centre level.
- Represent the centre professionally within the local healthcare ecosystem.
7. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to NABL standards, SOPs, quality protocols, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit readiness.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and ethical practices.
8. Patient Experience
- Ensure exceptional customer service.
- Resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
- Monitor patient feedback and implement corrective actions.
- Continuously improve patient satisfaction scores.
9. Reporting & MIS
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Track centre KPIs including:
- Revenue
- Patient Footfall
- Test Volumes
- Productivity
- Doctor-wise Performance
- Technician Utilization
- Cost Control
- Profitability
- Present actionable insights to management.
10. People Management
- Monitor attendance and staff productivity.
- Conduct performance reviews.
- Identify staffing requirements.
- Recommend recruitment, training, and disciplinary actions when required.

Required Qualifications
- Graduate in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field.
- MBA/MHA preferred.
Experience
Mandatory
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in managing a diagnostic centre, hospital, polyclinic, or healthcare facility.
- Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Prior responsibility for centre operations and financial performance.
- Experience coordinating with doctors, technicians, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong understanding of patient flow, healthcare operations, and service delivery.
Candidates without prior healthcare operations management experience will not be considered.

The selected candidate should be capable of taking independent charge of the centre quickly and contributing from the very first week with minimal handholding.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
