Key Responsibilities1. Teaching and Learning
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons using play-based and activity-based learning methods.
- Teach foundational concepts in English, Hindi, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Art & Craft, and Life Skills.
- Integrate storytelling, songs, games, and multimedia resources to enhance learning.
- Foster curiosity, creativity, and early literacy and numeracy skills.
Classroom Management
- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Manage classroom routines, transitions, and student behavior effectively.
- Encourage cooperation, sharing, and social skills among children.
Assessment and Progress Monitoring
- Observe and assess children’s development in cognitive, social, emotional, and motor domains.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents about developmental milestones and learning outcomes.
Student Development & Engagement
- Encourage language development, communication skills, and self-expression.
- Promote motor skill development through physical and creative activities.
- Introduce children to cultural, moral, and environmental awareness.
Professional Responsibilities
- Attend staff meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan thematic or integrated learning activities.
- Participate in school events, celebrations, and parent-teacher interactions.
Health & Safety
- Ensure the health, hygiene, and safety of all children in the classroom.
- Follow school policies for emergency procedures and first aid.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma/Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) or Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) certified.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) with specialization in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
- Experience teaching in pre-primary or nursery settings (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of child development, early learning pedagogy, and activity-based learning.
- Excellent communication, patience, and classroom management skills.
