A US Based engineering consulting company is looking for expansion into India.
JOB DESCRIPTION
· .Min. 8 years of experience in the industry, min. qualification B. E. degree in Mechanical Engineering.
· Candidate shall be experienced in REVIT MEP, Navis works and AutoCAD and have experience on various types of HVAC, Plumbing and Fire protection systems.
· Conceptualize initial design and develop comprehensive system engineering design drawings in REVIT or AutoCAD.
· Coordinate with other Engineering disciplines and perform clash detection and resolution.
. Design/draft for large commercial, residential, educational, institutional and industrial projects using BIM/REVIT, AUTOCAD and Navisworks
.Experience with load calculations using softwares such as Trane Trace700, HAPS, etc. We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, driven, intellectually sound and hard-working Senior level HVAC, Plumbing/Fire Protection designer/drafter able to work independently on Mechanical, plumbing and fire protection system designs for commercial, residential, educational and industrial projects using BIM, AutoCAD and Revit
· Assist in organizing and developing design/drafting standards
· Set up Revit models & CAD plans for both new and existing projects
· Troubleshoot Revit models to identify and resolve any technical issues or errors.
· Create accurate and detailed 3D models of Revit families to enhance project visualization and representation.
· Edit specification documents, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
· Effectively manage BIM360 file sharing, ensuring proper organization and accessibility of project files.
· Other tasks and duties assigned to design team
QUALIFICATIONS
a. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering required
b. Demonstrate Academic Excellence
c. AutoCAD proficiency is required
d. REVIT and Naviswork proficiency is required
e. Experience with US based commercial, institutional, residential plumbing and fire protection design is preferred
f. Excellent communication skills are required
