Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and systems at customer sites. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, ensure high equipment uptime, and deliver excellent customer service while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Roles for Installation & Commissioning
- Install and commission equipment at customer locations.
- Perform system configuration, testing, and validation.
- Ensure equipment operates according to specifications.
Maintenance & Repairs
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Diagnose technical issues and perform repairs efficiently.
- Replace defective components and verify proper functionality.
Technical Support
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
- Respond promptly to service requests and breakdown calls.
- Guide customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
Troubleshooting
- Analyze equipment failures and identify root causes.
- Implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
- Escalate complex technical problems when necessary.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare service reports after each visit.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts usage.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly service activity reports.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Address customer concerns professionally and promptly.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow company safety procedures and industry regulations.
- Ensure all work is performed according to quality standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in service engineering, maintenance, or technical support (depending on role level).
- Knowledge of troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations.
