Role: Quality Assurance Engineer Seniority Level: Mid-level Preferred Education: BE/Diploma in Civil Engineering Required Experience: 3–8 years of QA/QC experience in real estate, horizontal development, or infra projects Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and implement QA checklists to ensure compliance with project specifications and IS codes - Conduct regular inspections across civil, finishing, and services works to monitor quality and identify areas for improvement - Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records, including inspection reports and test results - Coordinate with contractors to implement corrective actions and resolve non-conformities Must-Have Skills/Technologies: - Strong knowledge of quality management systems - Knowledge of IS codes and project specifications - Proven experience in preparing and implementing QA checklists - Experience in conducting inspections and maintaining quality records - Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles - Excellent communication and coordination skills - Ability to guide site teams on best practices and drive continuous improvement Good-to-Have Skills/Technologies: - Certification in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) - Experience with quality management software and tools (e.g., QA/QC modules, inspection apps) - Knowledge of construction management software and technologies (e.g., BIM, project management tools) - Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards (e.g., building codes, environmental regulations) - Lean or Six Sigma certification, or experience with continuous improvement methodologies Must-Have Soft Skills: - Excellent communication and coordination skills - Ability to guide site teams on best practices and drive continuous improvement - Strong attention to detail - Organizational skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good-to-Have Soft Skills: - Leadership skills to effectively manage and coordinate with site teams and contractors - Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve non-conformities - Time management skills to meet project deadlines and deliverables - Adaptability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
