We are seeking a passionate and energetic Western Dance Teacher for the Primary Years Programme (IB PYP). The ideal candidate should be skilled in various western dance forms and capable of nurturing creativity, confidence, and physical expression among young learners in alignment with IB philosophy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging western dance sessions for primary students (Grades 1–5)
- Teach a variety of dance styles such as Jazz, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, and Freestyle
- Integrate dance with the IB PYP framework, encouraging inquiry-based learning
- Choreograph performances for school events, assemblies, and annual functions
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Dance / Performing Arts or relevant field
- Formal dance training or certification in western dance styles
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a school (IB experience preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- All qualifications must be regular with good academic record
Candidates residing nearby will be preferred.
