Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day restaurant operations
- Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house and/or back-of-house staff
- Ensure exceptional guest service and handle customer complaints professionally
- Support staff scheduling, attendance tracking, and shift management
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and cost control
- Support sales initiatives and upselling strategies to meet revenue targets
- Step in for the Restaurant Manager when required Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in a restaurant supervisory or assistant manager role
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and restaurant operations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and inventory management Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (Hospitality degree or certification is a plus)
