Retail Customer Service Executive
Key Responsibilities
· Assist customers on the shop floor by understanding their needs and recommending suitable products.
· Maintain attractive and organized product displays as per store merchandising standards and management SOPs.
· Ensure correct product ranging and shelf arrangement within the assigned department.
· Follow FIFO method for stock rotation to ensure freshness and minimize expiry losses.
· Achieve daily and monthly department sales targets through active selling and upselling.
· Adhere strictly to all SOPs, guidelines, and instructions issued by management from time to time.
· Monitor stock levels and coordinate with supervisors for timely replenishment.
· Ensure correct pricing, labelling, and promotional signage as per SOP.
· Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally and escalate when required.
· Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and discipline in the department as per company standards.
· Support department head during stock counts, audits, and promotions.
Qualifications & Experience
· Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Sales Executive in a supermarket or hypermarket.
· Plus Two / Graduate qualification preferred.
· Experience in department-wise selling (Grocery, FMCG, Fresh, or Non-Food) is an advantage.
· Basic knowledge of retail operations and SOP-driven environments.
