We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Fabric Merchandiser to join the team at Dora Dori. The role involves complete coordination and management of fabric procurement and tracking processes from requirement planning to final inward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding fabric requirements from the design and production team
- Coordinating with vendors for fabric sourcing, development, and costing
- Creating and managing Purchase Orders (POs)
- Following up with vendors for timely dispatch and deliveries
- Maintaining proper records and tracking of all POs
- Managing fabric inward entries and system updates accurately
- Coordinating fabric approvals, swatches, lab dips, and sample developments
- Preparing and maintaining TNA (Time & Action Calendar) for all ongoing styles
- Ensuring smooth communication between design, production, warehouse, and vendors
- Monitoring fabric consumption, pending quantities, and delivery timelines
- Maintaining reports and trackers for fabric status, inward, and production requirements
- Ensuring quality standards and timely execution at every stage
Requirements:
- Experience in fabric merchandising / sourcing / production coordination
- Good understanding of fabrics, garment production, and vendor management
- Strong knowledge of PO handling, inward processes, and tracking systems
- Must be comfortable working on laptops and handling Excel sheets, reports, and merchandising software efficiently
- Ability to manage multiple styles and timelines efficiently
- Good communication and coordination skills
Salary: 20k to 35k
Location: Jaipur
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
