Deputy Operations Manager – Job Description
The Deputy Operations Manager Role Summary:
The Deputy Operations Manager is responsible for assisting the Agency Operations Manager in processing work associated with a variety of insurance policies. Assistance is required for Quoting, Preparing Applications for Brokers, issuing certificate, endorsements, reviewing the renewal reports, remarketing policies and other tasks within the Agency.
- Manage their tasks on daily basis and assign the tasks as needed for each task.
- Manage a team of Client Relationship Managers who have their respective book of business.
- Quoting with multiple carriers, Preparing Applications for Brokers, issuing certificate, processing endorsements, renewal preparation and other tasks assigned.
- Order and issue binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, and other related items; verify their accuracy; forwards them to client with appropriate correspondence.
- Verify policy and policy change information, facilitate corrections when necessary.
- Process renewals in coordination with agents and according to agency procedures.
- Review audits of policy; verify accuracy and facilitate corrections, as needed, between client and carrier.
- Assist clients in submitting reports of claims, facilitate prompt response from carrier staff and follow up on claims status, according to agency procedures.
- Reporting the daily/weekly/monthly deliverables to Sr. management without any supervision.
- Imperative for self & team to be in compliant with all the set protocols of the agency
- Defined Sales target to be met by self & the team in accordance to meet the production goals.
- Training of new hires including knowledge transfer, on job training support & floor support
- Tech friendly: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PDFs), Carrier websites, AMS etc.
- Organizing, Documentation, Communication and work independently.
- Leadership skills, Team Building, taking initiative will help grow within the firm.
- Prepare summaries of insurance, schedules, and proposals as needed.
- Required to clear the agency test within initial 60-90 days
- Compensation: TBD
- Opportunity to earn commissions
- Bonus if the Agency performs as per the annual goal
- Benefits will be offered upon completion of probationary period
Pay: ₹980,033.12 - ₹1,301,201.66 per year
