Position Summary
Olegio Restaurant is seeking a vigilant and responsible Security Guard to ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property. The candidate will maintain a secure environment while providing courteous assistance to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor restaurant premises to ensure safety and security
- Control entry and exit of guests, staff, and vendors
- Oversee parking area and assist in maintaining order
- Prevent unauthorized access and handle disturbances calmly
- Conduct regular patrols inside and outside the premises
- Report suspicious activities, incidents, or safety hazards to management
- Assist during emergencies (fire, medical, evacuation, etc.)
- Coordinate with local authorities if required
- Maintain a professional and alert presence at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience as a security guard preferred (hotel/restaurant experience is an advantage)
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
- Basic communication skills (Malayalam required; English/Hindi is a plus)
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle situations calmly and professionally
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid security training certification (if available)
- Knowledge of basic safety and emergency procedures
