A forklift driver safely operates industrial vehicles to load, unload, stack, and transport heavy materials. They are the backbone of warehouse operations, tasked with tracking inventory, performing equipment maintenance, and ensuring a hazard-free work environment.
- Loading & Unloading: Safely moving raw materials or finished products to and from delivery trucks, storage facilities, and production floors.
- Inventory Management: Using Radio Frequency (RF) scanners to track stock, organize pallets, and conduct cycle counts.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conducting pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections, basic battery charging, and fluid checks.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhering to workplace safety standards, reporting any equipment malfunctions, and keeping the work area clear of hazards.
- Order Preparation: Picking, shrink-wrapping, and staging finished goods for outgoing shipments.
Core Requirements.
- Valid Certification: A legally compliant and valid forklift operator certificate/license.
- Physical Capability: Good hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and the ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to read production schedules, follow verbal instructions, and verify shipping manifests or bills of lading.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
