The PGT Physics Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Physics to students. The teacher will foster scientific thinking, conceptual understanding, and practical application of Physics while preparing students for Board examinations and supporting their overall academic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Physics lessons.
- Develop annual academic plans, lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessment materials.
- Prepare students for Board examinations through effective teaching and regular assessments.
- Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, projects, and practical examinations.
- Provide remedial support and enrichment programs based on individual learning needs.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, practical work, and student progress.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
- Ensure safe and effective use of laboratory equipment and maintain laboratory discipline.
- Encourage scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among students.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, school events, and professional development programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance academic quality and student outcomes.
- Perform additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school management.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree (M.Sc.) in Physics from a recognized university.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized institution.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience as a PGT Physics teacher in a CBSE or reputed school.
- Experience in handling senior secondary classes and Board examination preparation is preferred.
