Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer (Experienced)
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer who can combine strong engineering knowledge with sales skills to promote and sell technical products/services. The role involves understanding customer requirements, providing technical solutions, and driving business growth through effective client engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets.
- Understand customer technical requirements and propose suitable solutions.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure accurate solution delivery.
- Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and tender documents.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support.
- Track market trends, competitors, and customer feedback.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to company revenue growth.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil / Electrical or related field).
- 3–8 years of experience in technical sales or engineering solutions.
- Strong technical knowledge relevant to the industry (e.g., construction, steel structures, industrial solutions, etc.).
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in B2B sales and client handling.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting.
- Knowledge of tendering and contract processes.
- Strong problem-solving and customer-focused approach.
