Job Summary
A JavaScript developer is responsible for implementing the front-end logic that defines the behavior of the visual elements of a web application. A JavaScript developer is also responsible for connecting this with the services that reside on the back-end. They are usually supported by back-end web developers, who are responsible for server-side application logic..
Responsibilities and Duties
- JavaScript, its quirks and workarounds
- Advanced JavaScript libraries, frameworks and tools such as AngularJS, React, BackbOne, Node Ember Data, Meteor, jQuery, Mocha, Sinon, Grunt, Gulp, Webpack, Browserify, ES6, etc
- A building or working with responsive web applications o Web markup including HTML5 and CSS3 o Front end development tools
- Code versioning tools like Git and SVN Working knowledge of the following area is nice to have:
- JSON and REST patterns o HTTP request/response protocol
- Basic understanding of computer network and its compOnents
- Agile Experience (Scrum, Kanban)
- Work experience in a 3-tier architectures environment consisting of front-end clients, middle-tier servers, and database back-ends.
Qualifications and Skills
A bachelor’s higher-level degree in Computer / IT/ MCA is necessary with a minimum good academic background.
