Job Description
The role is responsible for financial accounting, statutory compliance, tax coordination, reporting, and system implementation activities. The position requires strong expertise in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, tax processes, and cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting & Analysis
Perform detailed Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss flux analysis, identifying key variances and trends.
Support quarterly financial reporting across key areas including Tax and Accounts Receivable.
Prepare and finalize financial statements (FS) including casting and notes to accounts.
Manage legacy financial statements and accounting data for entities
2. Audit & Compliance Management
Lead and coordinate statutory and internal audits, ensuring timely closure of audit requirements.
Manage compliance with STPI (Software Technology Parks of India) regulations.
Maintain CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) tracking and compliance reporting.
Coordinate with the legal team for filing financial data and statutory submissions.
3. Accounts Receivable & Invoicing
Oversee AR invoicing processes, including RBI compliance requirements.
Validate vendor invoicing to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Monitor and manage BRC (Bank Realization Certificate) downloads and reconciliation.
4. Systems & Process Management
Support SAP S/4HANA implementation, specifically related to General Ledger (GL) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Ensure proper data governance, documentation, and process controls.
Maintain email backups and critical financial documentation for audit readiness.
5. Regulatory Compliance
Coordinate tax matters, including advance tax calculations and payments.
Manage Intercompany billing, transfer pricing (TP) activities, including unbilled and unearned revenue analysis.
Handle legacy tax and litigation matters, including maintaining a litigation tracker.
Ensure compliance with RBI and other regulatory requirements, including AR invoicing.
6. Treasury & Forex Management
Perform forex working and analysis, ensuring compliance and accuracy in reporting.
Support treasury-related activities linked to cross-border transactions.
7. Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with legal, tax, audit, and business teams for seamless operations.
Maintain and update group organizational charts for reporting and governance purposes.
Manage access and credentials for tax, STPI, and regulatory portals.
8. Strategic & Special Projects
Support ARC (Audit/Risk Committee) requirements and presentations.
Work on corporate restructuring and spin-off activities.
Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and controls.
Qualifications
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of GAAP/Ind AS and financial reporting
Experience with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred)
Analytical skills with ability to perform financial variance analysis
Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills
High attention to detail and strong documentation practices
Preferred Qualifications
Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3+years or CA (inter)with 7+years or equivalent qualification
Extensive experience in corporate accounting, audits, and taxation
Exposure to multi-entity, global operations or legacy integrations
