We are urgently looking for a highly experienced SAP Functional Consultant with strong SAP CO, SAP PS and SAP FICO expertise for a critical enterprise engagement.

Job Summary
The consultant will provide advanced functional support across SAP Controlling, Project Systems and FICO, manage complex production issues involving CRT processes, and drive improvements in operational efficiency.
The role also involves identifying opportunities to use AI and GenAI for incident management, root-cause analysis, documentation, knowledge management and support-process automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert functional support for SAP CO and SAP PS modules.
- Support and maintain SAP FICO processes while ensuring business continuity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues related to CRT processes.
- Perform detailed root-cause analysis and implement permanent corrective solutions.
- Handle critical incidents and ensure resolution within defined SLAs.
- Coordinate with business users, ABAP developers, technical teams and other functional teams.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI and GenAI within SAP support operations.
- Recommend automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor application performance and recommend process improvements.
- Prepare functional specifications for enhancements and custom developments.
- Support testing, deployment, validation and production rollout activities.
- Maintain SOPs, process documents, knowledge repositories and audit documentation.
- Conduct training and knowledge-transfer sessions for business and support teams.
Mandatory Skills
- 15+ years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP CO – Controlling.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP PS – Project Systems.
- Extensive functional experience in SAP FICO.
- Hands-on experience with CRT processes within the client or enterprise environment.
- Strong production support and incident-management experience.
- Expertise in root-cause analysis and preventive action planning.
- Experience with SAP configuration, customization and enhancement support.
- Ability to prepare functional specifications and work closely with ABAP teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience adopting AI or GenAI capabilities within SAP environments.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted incident management, RCA and knowledge management.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale SAP applications.
- Ability to identify and drive process-improvement and automation initiatives.
- SAP CO, SAP PS or SAP FICO certification.
Qualification
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance or a related field.
