Job Description: Marketing Specialist (B2B CAD Software Reseller) – Mumbai

Job Summary
We are hiring a proactive Marketing Specialist to join our Mumbai team. You will partner directly with the sales team to generate qualified leads, run targeted campaigns, and build brand visibility in the CAD/software sector. Key focus areas include data generation, email marketing, events & webinars, and social media content. This is a full-time office-based/hybrid role in Mumbai, reporting to the Marketing Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Data Generation — Research and build high-quality prospect lists targeting CAD users in engineering, manufacturing, AEC, and related sectors using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, industry databases, and CRM. Ensure accurate, up-to-date data for sales outreach.
- Email Marketing — Design, launch, and optimize email campaigns (newsletters, product promotions, nurture sequences) using platforms like Mailchimp, HubSpot, or Zoho. Perform segmentation, A/B testing, and track metrics to boost engagement and conversions.
- Events and Webinars — Organize and promote virtual webinars, product demos, industry workshops, and participation in trade shows/exhibitions (e.g., engineering expos in Mumbai/Delhi). Manage end-to-end logistics, speaker coordination, registrations, and post-event lead follow-up.
- Social Media Content — Create and manage engaging content for LinkedIn (primary), Twitter/X, Facebook, and Instagram. Produce posts, infographics, short videos, polls, and thought-leadership pieces showcasing CAD benefits, case studies, and industry trends to attract B2B audiences.
- Sales Enablement — Collaborate with sales to align marketing efforts with pipelines, create customized collateral, provide campaign insights, and support deal acceleration.
- Performance Tracking — Monitor campaign ROI using Google Analytics, CRM dashboards, and platform reports. Deliver regular insights on lead quality, engagement, and recommendations for improvement.
- Content Support — Contribute to blogs, case studies, whitepapers, and other assets tailored to Indian B2B CAD buyers.
Qualifications and Skills
Education — Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
Experience — 1-3 years in B2B marketing, ideally in software, IT solutions, SaaS, or reseller/distributor environments. Prior exposure to CAD, engineering software, or technical products is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
- Email marketing tools (Mailchimp, HubSpot, Zoho Campaigns, etc.).
- CRM familiarity (Salesforce, Zoho CRM, or similar).
- Social media scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, LinkedIn tools).
- Basic design proficiency (Canva, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator).
- Webinar/event platforms (Zoom, GoToWebinar, Microsoft Teams).
Soft Skills:
- Excellent English communication (written & verbal); Hindi/Marathi is a plus for local outreach.
- Data-driven with strong analytical skills.
- Organized, able to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- Creative with an understanding of B2B buyer journeys in technical sectors.
- Team player who enjoys collaborating with sales.
