Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Data Migration Senior Consultant with strong functional and technical expertise to support end-to-end data migration activities. The consultant will be responsible for executing data migration objects, collaborating with functional and business teams, and ensuring high quality data loads aligned with business requirements. The role demands a hands-on professional capable of working across modules and contributing to migration strategy execution, validation, and cutover activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute end-to-end data migration activities including data extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, and load for assigned objects.
Collaborate with functional teams to understand business processes and define data mapping, transformation rules, and validation logic.
Participate in workshops to gather requirements, finalize object scope, and define acceptance criteria.
Prepare and maintain object-level documentation including mapping templates, functional specifications, and runbooks.
Perform data profiling, cleansing, de-duplication, and validation to ensure data quality standards are met.
Support data migration cycles including mock loads, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and cutover activities.
Execute data loads using tools such as SAP Migration Cockpit, BODS/Syniti, LSMW/LTMC, IDoc/BAPI, and SQL-based methods.
Perform reconciliation activities including control totals and pre/post-load validations in coordination with business and finance teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to overall migration planning, status reporting, and risk mitigation.
Provide support during hypercare phase to ensure data stability and issue resolution.
Qualifications:
Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA data migration with hands-on involvement in multiple migration cycles.
Functional understanding in at least one or two SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI/CO, PP) with ability to interpret data requirements.
Ability to work independently on assigned objects with minimal supervision. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good communication skills with the ability to interact with business and technical stakeholders.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
Experience:
4-7 years of overall SAP experience with at least 6+ years in data migration projects. Hands-on experience with both master and transactional data migration such as:
Business Partner (Customer/Vendor), Material Master, Finance objects (GL, AR/AP, AA), Inventory and open transactions Experience supporting SIT, UAT, and cutover activities. Exposure to multi-system landscapes and integration scenarios.
Certifications:
SAP S/4 HANA certification in any relevant module (MM, SD, FI, or MDG) is a plus. Any data quality, data management, or analytics certification (e.g., DAMA CDMP Associate, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst) will be an added advantage.
Technical Skills: Tools/Tech: SAP BODS / Syniti, LSMW / LTMC, IDoc/BAPI, flat-file extractions, SQL/Excel-based validation frameworks.
Functional–Data Bridging: Data mapping and derivation rules aligned to process designs; familiarity with IMG/config artifacts and Fiori validation apps.
Quality & Controls: Profiling, match/merge, de-duplication, control totals, and reconciliation design; strong documentation discipline. Lifecycle: SAP Activate, test strategy (Unit/SIT/UAT), cutover planning, risk/issue management, and audit-ready run books. Desired Attributes:

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
