Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Garments Merchandiser to manage the complete merchandising process from order confirmation to shipment. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, coordination, and production follow-up skills while ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle buyer enquiries and coordinate with customers.
- Manage the complete order execution process from development to shipment.
- Coordinate with production, sampling, sourcing, quality, and logistics teams.
- Monitor order status and ensure on-time delivery.
- Follow up on fabric, trims, accessories, and sample approvals.
- Prepare costing, T&A (Time & Action) plans, and production schedules.
- Maintain merchandising documentation and order records.
- Ensure product quality and compliance with buyer requirements.
- Resolve production issues and communicate updates to buyers.
- Coordinate with factories and vendors for smooth execution.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of garment merchandising and production processes.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in woven, knit, or textile garments is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple orders.
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Fashion Technology, Textile Technology, Apparel Management, or any relevant field.
- 1–6 years of experience in garment merchandising.
Preferred Candidate
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
- Experience working with export garment manufacturers is an added advantage.
