About the Role
Presto Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Mechanical Intern who is eager to gain practical exposure in the testing, inspection, installation, servicing, and maintenance of laboratory/testing instruments. This internship will provide hands-on learning in a service-oriented technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in installation, servicing, calibration, and maintenance of testing equipment.
- Support engineers in troubleshooting mechanical issues in testing instruments.
- Understand basic mechanical components, tools, equipment, and measuring instruments.
- Assist in carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Visit customer sites with senior engineers for equipment installation and service activities.
- Maintain service records, reports, checklists, and other technical documentation.
- Assist in dismantling, assembly, alignment, and testing of mechanical components.
- Follow company safety procedures and technical guidelines.
- Coordinate with the technical team to ensure timely completion of service assignments.
- Learn and understand the working principles of various material testing and laboratory testing equipment.
Eligibility
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
- Freshers and final-year students can apply.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts, measurements, and tools.
- Good learning attitude and willingness to work in a field-service environment.
