ELL Lightings Studio Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Lighting Designer / CAD Designer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing lighting layouts, CAD drawings, lighting plans, and technical documentation for residential and commercial lighting projects.
The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of AutoCAD, an understanding of architectural/interior drawings, and an interest in lighting design.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed lighting layouts and CAD drawings for residential and commercial projects.
* Plan and position lighting fixtures based on architectural and interior design requirements.
* Prepare lighting plans, working drawings, fixture schedules and BOQs.
* Coordinate lighting layouts with architectural, interior and electrical drawings.
* Make revisions to drawings based on project requirements and client/architect feedback.
* Assist in selecting suitable lighting fixtures based on application, beam angle, wattage, CCT, CRI and other technical requirements.
* Coordinate with the sales and project teams to ensure accurate execution of lighting designs.
* Maintain proper documentation of drawings and project details.
Requirements
* Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
* Knowledge of architectural/interior drawings and basic technical drafting.
* Basic understanding of lighting concepts and lighting fixtures.
* Good attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to understand plans, dimensions and scale.
* Good communication and coordination skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
* Experience in architectural or interior lighting design.
* Experience in preparing lighting layouts, BOQs and working drawings.
* Candidates with experience in the lighting/interior/architectural industry will be preferred.
Experience
0–3 years of relevant experience.
Freshers with strong AutoCAD skills and a genuine interest in lighting design are also encouraged to apply.
