We are looking for a skilled Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair sewing machines, garment washing machines, and other production equipment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in machine maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and the safe use of maintenance tools to ensure uninterrupted production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of industrial sewing machines.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in sewing machines and garment washing machines.
- Install, service, and maintain garment washing equipment and related machinery.
- Inspect machines regularly to ensure optimum performance and minimize downtime.
- Carry out electrical troubleshooting, wiring repairs, and replacement of electrical components.
- Maintain compressors, motors, control panels, switches, and other electrical systems related to production equipment.
- Use maintenance tools and testing instruments safely and effectively.
- Maintain records of machine servicing, repairs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with the production team to resolve machine issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company maintenance procedures.
- Recommend machine improvements and spare parts requirements to enhance equipment reliability.
Required Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- 2–3 years of experience in the garment/apparel manufacturing industry.
- Experience in maintaining industrial sewing machines and garment washing machines.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of industrial sewing machine repair and maintenance.
- Experience in garment washing machine repair and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of electrical systems, wiring, motors, contactors, relays, and control panels.
- Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in using electrical and mechanical maintenance tools.
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and machine manuals.
- Strong problem-solving and fault diagnosis skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to machine breakdowns.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with steam boilers, air compressors, and utility equipment.
- Knowledge of PLC-controlled machines will be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety and electrical safety standards.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
