Job Summary
We are looking for Production Blender at our fragrance manufacturing facility in India who will be responsible for accurately preparing and blending fragrance products in accordance with approved formulations, batch manufacturing records, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The role involves precise weighing of raw materials, operating blending equipment, monitoring the production process, and ensuring that all products meet the Company's quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The Production Blender is expected to maintain accurate production records, ensure good housekeeping practices, and contribute to efficient manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and blend fragrance compounds strictly according to approved formulations, batch sheets, and production schedules.
- Accurately weigh, measure, and dispense raw materials using calibrated weighing equipment.
- Verify raw material codes, batch numbers, quantities, and expiry dates before use.
- Operate blending tanks, mixers, pumps, filtration systems, and other production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor blending parameters including mixing time, speed, temperature, and sequence to ensure product consistency.
- Ensure complete dissolution and homogeneous mixing of all ingredients before transferring the finished batch.
- Perform in-process quality checks and coordinate with the Quality Control department for sample collection and approval.
- Record all production activities accurately in batch manufacturing records and production logs.
- Report any deviations, non-conformities, equipment malfunctions, or quality issues immediately to the Production Supervisor.
- Clean blending vessels, utensils, transfer lines, and equipment according to approved cleaning procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
- Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), company SOPs, quality procedures, and safety regulations at all times.
- Handle fragrance raw materials, solvents, and chemicals safely using the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist in inventory reconciliation by reporting material consumption, wastage, and shortages.
- Support production planning by ensuring batches are completed within the scheduled timelines.
- Participate in equipment maintenance activities and report preventive maintenance requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment following 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing productivity, reducing waste, and improving operational efficiency.
- Comply with all Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), ISO, and company policies.
Requirements
- Diploma or ITI in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- High school qualification with relevant production experience may also be considered.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Production Blender, Compounder, or Mixing Operator in the fragrance, perfume, cosmetics, flavours, personal care or chemical manufacturing industry.
- Experience in handling fragrance oils, aroma chemicals, solvents, and liquid blending operations is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with batch manufacturing processes and production documentation.
Pay: ₹3,000.00 - ₹4,000.00 per hour
