Job Summary:
The Furniture Project Coordinator supports the sales and design teams by managing the execution of furniture orders from quotation to final delivery and installation. This role ensures smooth coordination among customers, showroom teams, production units, vendors, and installation teams, ensuring projects are completed accurately, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quotations & Proposals
- Prepare detailed quotations based on approved drawings, specifications, materials, and hardware selections.
- Coordinate with design, production, and procurement teams to obtain costing inputs.
- Ensure quotations follow company pricing guidelines and include correct margins.
- Prepare professional proposals including scope of work, specifications, timelines, and payment terms.
- Revise quotations based on client feedback or design changes.
- Maintain proper records and version control for all quotations and proposals.
2. Project Coordination & Order Execution
- Take over confirmed orders from the sales team and manage project execution.
- Prepare project timelines from order confirmation to delivery and installation.
- Coordinate with production teams, workshops, and vendors to ensure timely manufacturing.
- Track progress of materials, manufacturing, polishing, and finishing.
- Escalate delays or issues to management when required.
3. Vendor & Internal Coordination
- Coordinate with carpenters, polishers, hardware suppliers, stone vendors, and logistics partners.
- Ensure materials, finishes, and hardware match the approved samples and client selections.
- Support the production team in resolving technical or execution issues.
4. Customer Communication
- Act as a point of contact for customers during the execution stage.
- Provide regular updates regarding order progress, delivery schedules, and installation timelines.
- Handle customer queries, change requests, and concerns professionally.
- Ensure all design or scope changes are documented and approved.
5. Quality Control
- Conduct basic quality checks before dispatch from the workshop or warehouse.
- Verify finishes, workmanship, and dimensions as per approved drawings.
- Coordinate any rectification or finishing touch-ups before delivery.
6. Delivery & Installation Coordination
- Schedule deliveries and installation with logistics and installation teams.
- Confirm site readiness before dispatch of furniture.
- Ensure installation is completed as per drawings and customer expectations.
- Support final project handover to the customer.
7. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain project documentation including quotations, drawings, approvals, work orders, delivery challans, and invoices.
- Update project trackers and provide regular status updates to management.
- Coordinate with the accounts team for billing milestones and payment tracking.
Experience
- Preferred: 1–2 years’ experience in furniture, interior projects, or showroom coordination
- Freshers with relevant education and strong coordination skills are welcome to apply
Educational Qualification
- Diploma or Degree in: Interior Design/Furniture Design/Architecture/Related Field
- Graduation from any discipline

- Basic AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
