JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager with a strong background in the signage manufacturing industry to lead our large-scale manufacturing operations. The role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing end-to-end production while ensuring on-time project delivery, superior quality, operational efficiency, cost optimization, and workplace safety.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead end-to-end production of indoor, outdoor, digital, LED, acrylic, ACP, metal, flex, wayfinding, and architectural signage projects.
- Oversee complete factory operations including fabrication, CNC routing, laser cutting, welding, painting, digital printing, finishing, assembly, quality inspection, packing, and dispatch.
- Convert approved shop drawings and technical specifications into production-ready execution plans with defined timelines, manpower, machinery, and material requirements.
- Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to ensure on-time project delivery.
- Optimize manpower, machine utilization, production capacity, and shift planning to maximize operational efficiency and throughput.
- Monitor production KPIs, factory performance, labor productivity, and delivery schedules while implementing corrective actions to eliminate bottlenecks.
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure all products meet company standards and client specifications.
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, ISO standards, company SOPs, and manufacturing best practices while promoting a safe working environment.
- Minimize production defects, rework, material wastage, and customer complaints through preventive quality assurance practices.
- Ensure maximum uptime of CNC routers, laser cutting machines, digital printers, welding, fabrication, and finishing equipment through effective maintenance planning.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams and equipment vendors to resolve technical issues and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely availability of raw materials, consumables, outsourced services, and maintenance support.
- Collaborate with Sales, Design, Estimation, Procurement, Project Management, QA/QC, and Installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Production Supervisors, Team Leaders, Machine Operators, Fabricators, and Production Technicians while fostering a high-performance culture.
- Monitor inventory utilization, production costs, labor efficiency, and material consumption to support effective cost control and profitability.
- Maintain accurate production reports, manufacturing records, and ERP/MRP data to support operational planning and performance analysis.
- Evaluate and recommend machinery upgrades, automation technologies, and process improvements to enhance manufacturing capability and efficiency.
- Achieve departmental KPIs related to production efficiency, on-time delivery, equipment utilization, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Support senior management in driving operational excellence, factory scalability, and continuous business growth.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in signage manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a Production Manager, Factory Manager, Plant Manager, or Production Head role.
- Candidates must have experience in one or more of the following industries: Signage Manufacturing, Outdoor Advertising (OOH), Architectural Signage, Digital Signage, Metal Fabrication, or Retail Branding.
Technical & Market Expertise:
- Proficient in AutoCAD, ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and CorelDRAW (basic), with hands-on experience in production planning and technical documentation.
- Strong expertise in signage materials and manufacturing processes, including CNC routing, laser cutting, digital printing, fabrication, welding, and assembly.
- Skilled in interpreting technical, shop, and fabrication drawings to ensure accurate production execution
Leadership & Soft Skills:
- Strong operational leadership with hands-on execution capability.
- Excellent planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage pressure, shifting priorities, and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Clear communicator capable of aligning teams toward production goals.
