we are looking for an Automation Engineer for our client with 3–5 years of experience in industrial/process or machine automation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in PLC/SCADA programming, HMI development, electrical systems, instrumentation, FAT, commissioning, and site start-up activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and modify PLC programs using STL/LAD/FBD.
- Work on Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, or Schneider PLC/SCADA systems.
- Develop HMI/SCADA screens using WinCC, FactoryTalk View, Wonderware, or equivalent.
- Prepare Functional Descriptions, I/O Lists, Network & Configuration Diagrams.
- Conduct PLC/HMI FAT, vendor FAT, internal FAT and client FAT.
- Coordinate with Electrical, Process and Project teams for automation activities.
- Perform PLC/SCADA commissioning, start-up and SAT at customer sites.
- Test I/O, safety loops, field wiring, communication networks and control panels.
- Configure and commission VFDs/drives as per motor specifications.
- Work with Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet, Modbus and other industrial communication protocols.
- Support field instrumentation calibration and validation.
- Prepare as-commissioned documentation, weekly reports and handover documents.
- Train client operators on plant operation and automation systems.
Mandatory Skills
- 3–5 years of relevant Industrial Automation / Process Automation experience.
- Strong PLC programming experience with Siemens / Rockwell / Schneider.
- Hands-on experience with SCADA/HMI.
- Knowledge of STL, LAD, FBD.
- Knowledge of Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet, Modbus.
- Good understanding of electrical control circuits, MCCs, PLC panels and VFDs.
- Good knowledge of field/process instrumentation.
- Experience in FAT, SAT, commissioning and plant start-up.
- Good English communication and client-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites for extended periods.
- Valid passport is preferred/required for international project assignments.
Good to Have
- Knowledge of VB / C scripting.
- Exposure to safety systems and hazardous area classifications.
- International site commissioning experience.
- International Driving License is desirable.
Qualification
BE/B.Tech/Degree/Diploma in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics from a reputed institution.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
