Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Project Manager to oversee and manage civil construction projects from planning to completion. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, resource management, contractor coordination, quality control, safety compliance, budgeting, and timely delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day construction site operations and ensure smooth project execution.
- Plan, schedule, and monitor project timelines, manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and clients.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Control project costs and ensure execution within approved budget.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, labor laws, and company policies.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or operational issues.
- Approve bills, measurements, and material requisitions.
- Manage subcontractors and evaluate their performance.
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of construction materials.
- Lead project meetings and maintain proper documentation.
- Coordinate with government authorities for approvals and compliance when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- PMP certification is an added advantage.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in civil construction/project management.
- Experience in residential, commercial, industrial,high-rise or infrastructure projects preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and site management.
- Proficiency in project planning and scheduling tools.
- Good understanding of BOQ, billing, estimation, and contracts.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, and MS Office.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
