Production ManagerJob Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and result-oriented Production Manager to oversee and optimize our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth production workflows, managing shop floor operations, maintaining strict quality standards, and meeting delivery timelines.
The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in manufacturing, specifically within the modular furniture, modular kitchen, wardrobe, or interior furniture industries, alongside strong leadership capabilities to manage a production team.
Key Responsibilities1. Production Planning & Execution
- Plan, organize, and direct the daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets and delivery schedules.
- Oversee the fabrication, assembly, and finishing processes for modular furniture, kitchens, and wardrobes.
- Optimize resource utilization (manpower, machinery, and raw materials) to minimize waste and reduce production costs.
2. Quality Control & Safety
- Ensure all finished products strictly adhere to the company’s quality standards and design specifications.
- Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) on the shop floor.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
3. Team Management & Leadership
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of shop floor supervisors, technicians, and operators.
- Identify skill gaps and conduct regular training on machinery operation, safety measures, and quality standards.
- Manage workforce scheduling, attendance, and grievance resolution to maintain high team morale.
4. Inventory & Machine Maintenance
- Coordinate with the procurement and warehousing teams to ensure a seamless supply of raw materials and hardware.
- Oversee the preventive and breakdown maintenance of manufacturing machinery (e.g., edge-banding machines, CNC routers, panel saws) to minimize downtime.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 8–12 years of core manufacturing experience.
- Industry Preference: Must have substantial experience in modular furniture, modular kitchens, wardrobes, or commercial interior furniture manufacturing.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of woodworking machinery, materials (MDF, HDF, Plywood, Veneers), hardware fittings, and manufacturing processes.
- Key Skills: Production Scheduling, Shop Floor Management, Quality Assurance, Team Leadership, and Resource Optimization.
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

- Salary Range: ₹70,000 – ₹80,000 per month
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
