Extensive knowledge on key mold manufacturing processes (EDM, CNC, etc.,) and machining rates
Extensive knowledge on mould construction
Work within the constraints of budget, schedule and scope to manage risk and ensure adherence to established
processes and methodologies through:
- Interaction with BD,OPM, suppliers, and internal resources
- Demonstration of advanced knowledge in Mould design
- Mentoring other engineers & Mentoring them
- Defining and managing scope, time and cost for complex projects or programs
- Identifying risks, taking responsibility for mitigation actions, and managing mitigation plan
Should have good knowledge of Injection Molding Process.
Should have good knowledge of Mold Design Concepts
Should have good knowledge of Polymer Materials rheology and Thermodynamics.
Should have experience in Plastic Part and Mold Development Process.
Should have experience of resolving injection molding problems like weld lines, sink marks, warpage using
simulation.
Strong Results interpretation and communication skills.
Proven work experience in mould building
Analytical thinker with interpersonal skill
Knowledge of process related standards
Ability to work autonomously or as a contributing team member.
Able to provide technical guidance to manufacturing team members.
Work with Product Engineering to improve design and or manufacturing process.
Able to handle multiple projects at one time.
Effective verbal and written communication skill as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Proficiency with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
