Business Unit Overview
Working as a full time IT DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for following the technical direction and implementation of the enterprise DevOps engineering environment.
Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Have good experience on maintaining and monitoring of systems and engineering practices in the areas of Red Hat Linux / MS Windows and setting up pipelines in Github actions CI/CD with controls.

Ability to analyze, develop, test, optimize and deliver solutions to improve processes and Infrastructure as code automation practices with quality

Design, build, and manage application server environments (JBOSS, Weblogic, Websphere, IIS, etc).

Support software product delivery, quality testing, feature development, and maintenance releases to enhance reliability and security.

Maintaining and creating continuous integration and delivery processes.

Automate software application deployments using CI/CD pipelines.

Create automation to build, test and deploy applications using pipelines in Github actions.

Managing SSL certificate creation, renewal and automation.

Ensure integrity and security of systems through patch management
- Perform technical reviews of deploy guides, code and documentations

Provide innovative solution to complex technical problems and drive towards solutions

Learn, use and conduct technical trainings

Mentor junior team members

Effective communication across IT Teams

Provide support on critical systems in an on-call rotation

Ensure adherence to standards and policies of the organization
Required Position Qualifications
- Full Time Bachelor’s degree

5-8 years of experience working in a DevOps engineering with Github actions CI/CD in related information technology position.

Preferred Position Qualifications
- Have strong experience in a DevOps-focused position or a software development background with an understanding of DevOps culture.

Willingness to learn and perform tasks including deploying and supporting application servers, configuration management, and CI/CD tools.

Working knowledge of Github software version control tools

Familiarity with cloud computing (Azure), Atlassian product administration (Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket), and log aggregation tools (Splunk, Kibana - ELK) is beneficial

Scripting: Bash / Python / Powershell / Ansible / Puppet / Terraform
