We are seeking a Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and supplier contract management across our global software portfolio, including SaaS and enterprise applications. This role is part of the Procurement Operations team in Bangalore and partners closely with global stakeholders to deliver commercial value, strengthen supplier performance, and ensure high standards of governance, risk management, and compliance.
This role also plays a key part in enabling responsible adoption of emerging technologies, including AI/GenAI solutions.
Category Strategy & Sourcing
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies across software categories (SaaS, enterprise tools, engineering applications) as well as system integration professional services for software implementation
- Lead end-to-end sourcing: RFPs, renewals, supplier selection, and negotiations
- Drive cost optimization through demand consolidation, pricing strategies, and commercial structuring
- Use market intelligence and spend insights to inform sourcing decisions
- Collaborate with Technology Procurement leadership and Category Managers to align strategies and drive enterprise outcomes
Supplier Management & Governance
- Manage key supplier relationships to drive performance, innovation, and value
- Ensure robust supplier governance, including risk, security, and compliance adherence
- Partner with Legal, Security, and Compliance teams to manage supplier risk and due diligence
- Drive accountability on contractual commitments and issue resolution
AI & Technology Governance
- Evaluate and onboard AI/GenAI-enabled software suppliers with structured governance
- Ensure alignment with enterprise standards for data privacy, security, and compliance
- Embed governance and risk controls into sourcing and contracting processes
- Position Procurement as a key control point for enterprise AI governance, ensuring consistent evaluation and monitoring of AI/GenAI vendors
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with Engineering, IT, Finance, Legal, Security, and Go-To-Market business teams
- Act as a trusted advisor on sourcing strategy, supplier selection, and commercial models
- Support planning and forecasting of software spend
- Drive alignment across stakeholders on sourcing decisions, risks, and trade-offs
- Work closely with Technology Procurement leadership and Category Managers on priorities and escalations
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop a team of 4 sourcing professionals
- Drive performance, accountability, and capability development
- Foster a high-performance, collaborative team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 12–14 years of procurement experience, with a focus on software sourcing
- Strong experience in SaaS and software licensing negotiations
- Proven people leadership experience
- Solid understanding of supplier risk, compliance, and contracting
