Job Title: Senior Accountant – E-commerce

Preferred:
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, etc.).
- Familiarity with marketplace seller dashboards (Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub, etc.).
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee the financial operations of our e-commerce business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic decision-making by providing financial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances related to e-commerce transactions.
- Reconcile payment gateways (Razorpay, Paytm, Stripe, etc.) and marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.).
- Monitor sales returns, refunds, chargebacks, and other deductions from various platforms.
- Work closely with the inventory and operations team to ensure accurate costing and stock valuation.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audits.
- Ensure timely filing of returns and submissions to statutory authorities.
- Evaluate and improve financial processes and systems for better accuracy and efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CA Inter preferred).
- Minimum 8–10 years of accounting experience, with at least 4-5 years in an e-commerce environment.
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and financial regulations.
- Experience with ERP systems and accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP).
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
