Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs in preparing Continental and Indian dishes
- Prepare ingredients including cutting, marination, sauces, gravies, and mise en place
- Cook dishes as per recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen section
- Ensure proper food storage and stock rotation (FIFO)
- Monitor food quality, portioning, and waste control
- Support senior chefs during busy service hours
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Requirements
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in Continental and Indian kitchen operations
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, sauces, curries, and plating
- Ability to work in a high-pressure kitchen environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of tandoor, grills, and continental sauces
- Understanding of food cost control and kitchen hygiene
- Time management and multitasking skills
- Passion for culinary excellence and presentation
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
