Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly and customer-focused Store Assistant to join our saree retail store. The role involves assisting customers in selecting sarees, maintaining store presentation, and ensuring a smooth shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a warm and professional manner.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable sarees. (fabric, design, occasion-based)
- Assist customers in draping/displaying sarees when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and visual merchandising of the store.
- Manage folding, stacking, and organizing saree inventory.
- Support billing and checkout process.
- Handle customer queries and provide product knowledge.
- Assist in stock management and inventory checks.
- Help in achieving daily/weekly sales targets.
Required Skills
- Good communication skills (Hindi + Marathi language; basic English preferred)
- Strong customer service attitude.
- Interest in fashion, especially ethnic wear/sarees.
- Basic understanding of fabrics. (silk, cotton, chiffon, georgette, etc.)
- Ability to handle multiple customers during peak hours.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
