Job Summary
The Audit Assistant will be deployed full-time at the bank branch/unit for carrying out concurrent audit assignments. The role involves examination of banking transactions, verification of compliance with RBI guidelines and internal bank policies, identification of irregularities, preparation of audit observations, and assisting the audit team in timely reporting of audit findings.
Conduct concurrent audit of bank branches on behalf of a CA firm. Review banking transactions, advances, documentation, KYC/AML compliance, revenue leakage, and adherence to RBI guidelines and bank policies. Prepare audit observations, maintain working papers, and coordinate with branch officials for timely reporting and closure of audit findings. Suitable for candidates with accounting, audit, or banking knowledge.
Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com / BBA
- CA Inter / CMA Inter candidates preferred.
- Freshers with strong accounting knowledge may apply.
Experience
- 1 to 3 years in audit, accounting, banking, or finance.
- Prior exposure to bank audits, statutory audits, or concurrent audits will be an added advantage.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles.
- Understanding of banking operations and credit processes.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and banking software.
- Ability to analyze financial statements and loan documents.
Working Conditions
- Full-time deployment at the bank branch/unit.
- Working hours generally aligned with bank working hours.
- Occasional extended hours during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reviews.
Compensation
As per qualifications, experience, and firm policy. Additional incentives may be considered based on performance and successful completion of assignments.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
