Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Civil Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects. The role involves analyzing drawings, specifications, and project requirements to determine material, labor, equipment, and overall project costs, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for civil projects
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and scope of work to determine project requirements
- Perform quantity take-offs for materials, labor, and equipment
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams for pricing and clarifications
- Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations and conduct cost comparisons
- Identify potential risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering options
- Update and maintain cost databases and estimation records
- Assist in contract negotiations and tender submissions
- Monitor cost variations and support project cost control when required
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering
- years of experience in civil estimation (buildings, infrastructure, roads, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and market rates
- Proficiency in estimation software, AutoCAD, MS Excel, and other relevant tools
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong analytical, numerical, and attention-to-detail skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
