Job Description:
Middle School Social Studies Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality Social Studies instruction to secondary students (Grades V–X). The role involves curriculum planning, student assessment, academic mentoring, and contributing to the overall academic excellence and cultural life of the school.
Teach Social Studies to secondary classes (V–X) as per the prescribed curriculum (CBSE/IGCSE Board). Encourage creativity, imagination, and individual expression.
Develop students’ interest in Humanities with enquiry based learning.
Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and projects aligned with the curriculum.
Maintain a safe, organized, and inspiring classroom environment.
Participate in school meetings, events, and professional development.
Candidate Profile:
An ideal candidate should have a bachelor's / master’s degree in Political Science/History/Geography from a reputed university together with relevant Cambridge certifications. He/she should have experience of teaching both curriculums, i.e. Cambridge and CBSE and preferably in a boarding school. Previously, should have taught humanities subject to middle school classes for at least 5 years. An avid interest in sports and hobbies will be an added advantage.
