Responsibilities:
The professional will have clear topline and bottom line responsibilities and will be responsible for the following activities adhering to the SOP’s defined.
- To mobilize the farmers as shareholder member of the Farmer Producer Company (PC)
- To undertake the pre-incorporation/incorporation/post-incorporation activities for Producer Companies, identifying the location and facilitate set up of Digital Commodity Collection Centre (D3C)
- To undertake the Procurement of Commodities from farmers as per set quality norms
- To ensure timely movement of Commodity from D3C to Warehouse of the PC
- S/he would ensure adoption and rollout of various modules (e.g. ERP, finance, procurement, ZOHO projects etc.) by the PEs
- To feed all the data and information in ERP in a timely manner for generating reports
- Managing the Budget of the Projects and monitor the Fund Flow of the PC
- Reporting to HO in a timely manner with all the relevant information of the PC
- Monitoring the operation of the PC and support the staffs of the PC to achieve the targeted project milestone
- To be responsible to initiate Agri Input business in the village through the team of PC
- To organize and imparting Training for Capacity Building of the PC staffs
- To Liaison with all the Stakeholders to ensure timely flow of information across the board
- To adhere all the Legal compliances of PC and statutory works with the support of CA and CS of the PC
- To strictly follow Annual work plan and execute the same in a timely manner with HO team
- Develop SOPs for business operations to be taken up by the Producer Enterprises including procurement, logistics, storage, materials management, financial management, value addition, marketing/trading, cost control, budget oversight.
Educational Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture and allied, food technology, commerce or other relevant fields.
- MBA in Agribusiness/Rural Management / MSW from an institution of repute
Experience
Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in agri-business with a reputed company of which at least 1 year should be in field level engagements in Agri Sourcing or in allied business
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong business skills – financial analysis, operations management, supply chain management, market analysis
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, with demonstrated strength in relationship management
- Ability to work independently in unstructured situations, develop business plans and support recommendations with data/analysis
- As the PCs and FDRVC work in an ERP enabled work environment, excellent computer skills are required
Desirable: Fluency in assamese, English and Hindi is essential. Proficiency in other regional language is highly desirable. Especially for NE position, prior relevant experience of working in the north-eastern region would be preferred.
The positions are based out of various field locations including north-eastern region and would require extensive travel es in rural locations.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
