Job Summary
Mitocon Biomed Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations. The role involves handling routine accounting entries, assisting in statutory compliance, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and pass daily accounting entries
- Handle accounts payable and receivable activities
- Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents
- Assist in bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny
- Support GST compliance including data preparation, returns, and reconciliations
- Assist in TDS calculations, returns, and compliance
- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors as required
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience in pharmaceutical / biotech / manufacturing industry
- Exposure to audits and compliance processes
