Hindi Teacher – Grades 1 & 2
Position: Hindi Teacher – Primary (Grades 1 & 2)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a warm, creative, and enthusiastic Hindi Teacher to teach students of Grades 1 and 2. The teacher should be able to build strong foundational Hindi language skills through engaging, age-appropriate activities while developing students' interest and confidence in the language.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Hindi lessons for Grades 1 and 2.
- Build foundational skills in Hindi reading, writing, speaking, listening, and comprehension.
- Teach Hindi varnamala, matras, vocabulary, sentence formation, and basic grammar appropriate to the grade level.
- Develop students' handwriting, spelling, pronunciation, and reading fluency.
- Use stories, poems, rhymes, songs, games, flashcards, activities, and visual aids to make Hindi learning enjoyable.
- Encourage students to speak simple Hindi sentences confidently.
- Conduct regular reading and writing practice and provide individual support where required.
- Assess student learning through worksheets, classwork, oral activities, and periodic assessments.
- Prepare age-appropriate worksheets, activities, and teaching resources.
- Maintain classroom discipline while creating a positive, encouraging, and child-friendly learning environment.
- Identify students who need additional academic support and provide appropriate intervention.
- Maintain student records and communicate progress to parents when required.
- Participate in school celebrations, competitions, assemblies, and other academic and co-curricular activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Hindi or a related subject.
- B.Ed./D.El.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Excellent command of spoken and written Hindi.
- Good English communication skills.
- Prior experience teaching Grades 1–2 is preferred.
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, energetic, creative, and comfortable working with young children.
- Ability to use digital teaching tools and create engaging classroom resources is an advantage.
Ideal Candidate:
A teacher who is patient, nurturing, energetic, and creative, and can make Hindi fun rather than purely textbook-based. The candidate should be able to build strong language fundamentals while keeping young learners actively engaged.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
