Core Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Assign daily tasks, train personnel, and evaluate performance.
- Quality Control: Inspect welds to ensure they conform to engineering blueprints and codes (e.g., AWS, ASME).
- Safety Enforcement: Ensure all team members comply with safety rules and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Process Optimization: Recommend welding procedures that reduce costs, minimize rework, and improve productivity.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical welding or fabrication experience, plus prior supervisory or leadership roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with processes like SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW. Strong ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and welding symbols.
- Certifications: Many employers require relevant certifications, such as CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) or CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) supervisor certifications.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
