Graduate Trainee/Apprenticeship – Global Distribution Operations
Apprenticeship is a 12-month program that will provide a comprehensive learning experience, blending theoretical knowledge with on-the-job training. Over the 12-month period, apprentices at Russell Investments will gain valuable exposure to industry while developing essential soft skills and acclimating to a professional corporate environment.

Position Summary
The Graduate trainee (apprentice) Client Service Associate (CSA)’s primary responsibilities will be to support various functions within the North America Advisor and Intermediary Solutions business to help achieve the unit’s ambitious sales goals. For example, supporting the achievement of growth goals in separately managed accounts; and gaining efficiencies in representing data on our mutual funds, model strategies and separately managed accounts on third party data platforms; and supporting our practice management initiatives designed to help advisors grow their businesses. Through these activities, the CSA assists the sales teams in providing a high-quality service experience to financial advisor clients and end investors.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of effective collaboration, a “team-first” mindset, a strong work ethic, the organizational skills and flexibility to balance and prioritize multiple tasks and initiatives concurrently, and a desire to grow their skills and knowledge.

Support the proposal, opening, and maintaining and closing of Personalized Managed Accounts: convert large data sets from PDF to excel format; scrub data; run proposals; coordinate the account opening process and transactions in partnership with the Personalized Managed Accounts Services team; escalate operational, client service and technical issues as necessary
Other duties as assigned
Candidate Requirements
Keen interest in global capital markets, the wealth management industry, investment vehicles commonly used by financial advisors (e.g., separately managed accounts, mutual funds, ETFs, model strategies)
Excellent critical and analytical thinking, attention to detail and written communication skills; ability to follow and proactively improve written procedures.
Ability to thrive in a team environment while also working independently.
Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple responsibilities and changing priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products, in particular Excel, Outlook, Word
