Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payments Analyst to manage end-to-end payment operations,
ensure high accuracy, and coordinate with internal teams and clients. The role requires strong operational
knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payment Processing & Accuracy
● Ensure zero-error processing of inward and outward payments
● Handle payment activities including:
○ Amendments
○ Tracers
○ Recalls
○ Refunds
● Verify and process SWIFT messages accurately
● Maintain reports for tracking transactions and resolving discrepancies
2. Daily Operations Management
● Manage day-to-day payment operations efficiently
● Monitor transaction flows and ensure timely completion
● Maintain operational records and dashboards
3. Client Coordination
● Act as a point of contact for clients on payment-related queries
● Resolve issues promptly and maintain high service standards
● Ensure clear and professional communication with clients
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
● Work closely with:
○ IT team for system-related issues
○ Compliance for regulatory requirements
○ Finance and Operations teams for reconciliation and processing
● Ensure smooth resolution of operational challenges
5. Reporting & Analytics
● Prepare and submit monthly payment reports and insights
● Track performance metrics and identify areas of improvement
● Support data-driven decision-making
6. Mentorship & Team Support
● Guide and mentor junior analysts
● Support team knowledge sharing and process improvements
7. Continuous Improvement
● Suggest and implement process improvements and automation ideas

Qualifications & Skills
● Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, or related field
● 1–3 years of experience in payments/financial operations (preferred)
● Knowledge of SWIFT messaging and banking/payment systems
● Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
● Good communication and stakeholder management skills
● Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple tasks
