NPD Circuit & PCB Design Engineer (R&D)
Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on NPD Circuit & PCB Design Engineer to work on end-to-end electronic product development. The role involves circuit design, PCB layout, embedded firmware, and product validation.
Key Responsibilities:
Hardware Design
- Design and develop analog & digital circuits for power supplies and control systems
- Select components (MCUs, sensors, power devices)
- Create schematics & PCB layouts using tools like Altium / KiCAD / EasyEDA
- Work on multi-layer PCB design, EMI/EMC compliance, and safety standards
- Prototype, test, and debug hardware
Embedded / Firmware
- Develop firmware in C/C++ for microcontrollers (STM32, ARM, PIC)
- Work with communication protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Modbus, Ethernet
- Perform debugging, calibration, and system integration
Testing & NPD Activities
- Perform hardware validation and debugging
- Support EVT / DVT / PVT stages
- Ensure smooth transition from design to production (NPI)
- Collaborate with mechanical, production, and QA teams
Documentation
- Prepare schematics, BOM, Gerber files, and test reports
- Maintain design and validation documentation
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of analog & digital electronics
- Hands-on experience in circuit design + PCB layout
- Experience in embedded systems programming (C/C++)
- Familiar with lab tools (oscilloscope, multimeter, etc.)
- Understanding of EMI/EMC and industrial communication protocols
Good to Have
- Experience in power electronics / SMPS / converters
- Exposure to PLC / SCADA integration
- Experience in product development (NPD/NPI environment)
Qualification
- B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Electronics (ECE / EEE / related)
