About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman to join our Interior Design and Architecture team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, furniture layouts, and construction drawings based on design concepts and project requirements. The candidate should possess strong AutoCAD drafting skills and have a good understanding of architectural and interior design standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed architectural and interior design drawings using AutoCAD.
- Create floor plans, elevations, sections, working drawings, and detailed construction drawings.
- Develop furniture layouts, ceiling plans, electrical layouts, and plumbing drawings.
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, project managers, and site teams.
- Modify and revise drawings based on project requirements and client feedback.
- Ensure drawings comply with design specifications, building standards, and project guidelines.
- Maintain organized project documentation and drawing records.
- Conduct site measurements and prepare as-built drawings when required.
- Assist the design team in preparing presentations and technical documentation.
- Ensure timely completion of drawings according to project deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Drafting, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in architectural or interior design drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Knowledge of construction detailing and architectural drafting standards.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
