Job Title: Car Evaluator / Vehicle Evaluator Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Car Evaluator responsible for inspecting, assessing, and determining the condition and value of used vehicles. The role requires strong automobile knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to evaluate vehicle performance, damages, repair history, and market value. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct detailed physical inspection of used cars including exterior, interior, engine, transmission, suspension, tyres, electrical systems, and overall vehicle condition. - Perform test drives to assess vehicle performance, handling, braking, and mechanical functionality. - Identify accidental repairs, repainting, dents, scratches, structural damages, and replacement parts. - Verify vehicle documents including RC, insurance, service history, ownership details, and other records. - Use diagnostic tools and inspection checklists to capture accurate vehicle evaluation data. - Estimate refurbishment/repair costs and recommend appropriate vehicle valuation. - Prepare detailed inspection reports with findings, photographs, and evaluation remarks. - Coordinate with sales, procurement, operations, and pricing teams for smooth vehicle acquisition. - Explain evaluation outcomes to customers and support negotiation discussions when required. - Maintain accuracy, transparency, and compliance with company inspection standards. - Stay updated on automobile trends, used car pricing, and market conditions. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Diploma / Degree in Automobile Engineering or relevant technical qualification preferred. - Prior experience as Car Evaluator, Automobile Technician, Service Advisor, Vehicle Inspector, or Mechanic preferred. - Strong understanding of car engines, mechanical systems, body structure, and vehicle diagnostics. - Ability to identify hidden damages, accidental history, and quality concerns. - Good communication and customer handling skills. - Basic computer/mobile application knowledge for updating inspection reports. - Valid driving license required. Experience: 1–5 years of experience in automobile service, used car inspection, dealership, or vehicle evaluation. Preferred Background: Automobile dealerships, used car platforms, service centers, workshops, or vehicle inspection companies.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
