Job Summary
Modi Mahindra is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the dealership's financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, accounting, statutory compliance, cash flow management, MIS reporting, and supporting business profitability while ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations of the dealership.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and bank reconciliations.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and other statutory regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for management.
- Monitor vehicle inventory financing, vendor payments, and customer receivables.
- Review dealership profitability and recommend cost-control measures.
- Supervise and mentor the accounts and finance team.
- Support management with financial analysis and business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and manufacturer financial reporting requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
- CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in the automobile dealership industry.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, accounting standards, and statutory compliance.
- Experience with ERP/accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or similar systems.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with automobile dealerships or OEM financial processes.
- Strong understanding of dealership accounting, inventory funding, and vehicle financing.
- Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
