Job Summary
Pyramid Eats is looking for a Microbiologist to manage microbiological testing, hygiene monitoring, and quality documentation at our food processing plant. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with both hands-on microbiology laboratory work and documentation/paperwork related to food safety and quality systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct microbiological testing of raw materials, finished products, water, and environmental samples.
- Perform routine microbiological analysis as per approved procedures.
- Maintain laboratory records, test reports, and sample registers.
- Monitor plant hygiene and conduct swab/environmental monitoring as required.
- Maintain and update microbiology-related documentation and records.
- Prepare and maintain COA, test reports, microbiology records, and quality documentation.
- Support food safety audits and regulatory inspections.
- Ensure proper sampling, testing, documentation, and record keeping.
- Monitor microbiological trends and report deviations to the Quality team.
- Follow laboratory safety, hygiene, GMP, HACCP, and food safety procedures.
- Coordinate with the Production and Quality teams to maintain required standards.
- Ensure timely completion and filing of all microbiology-related paperwork.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Microbiology, Food Microbiology, or a related field.
- Experience in a food processing, FMCG, dairy, beverage, frozen food, or similar industry will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of microbiological testing and food safety practices.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Comfortable handling both laboratory work and quality-related paperwork.
- Good computer skills, especially MS Excel and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
